Imagine not haggling over your price or not being asked questions to prove that you can do what you say you can do before they still don’t work with you. That’s the power of a strong brand. It’s a feeling that creates a connection between your business and your clients. And when it comes to reaching the six-figure revenue mark, that connection can make all the difference. A strong brand sets a business apart from its competitors and creates a loyal following of clients who will not only come back for more but also recommend the business to others. I want to share 4 steps to creating a strong brand.

Stand out. A strong brand stands out from the crowd. There are a number of things that you can do to stand out. Share your accolades. What makes you credible and the best choice as recognized by others: awards, designations, certifications, publications, etc… What is your unique formula or framework to the transformation? What is different about how you get them to the result? Share your why. You can do the exact same thing as someone else but WHY you do it may be what makes people choose you. People will choose to get behind a belief far quicker than a service. And finally, do it all in our own voice. One sure way to stand out is to be you.

Consistently Clear. You have to show up consistently, over and over again AND you have to share the basis of the same message each time. Research says people have to see and interact with your content 7 times before they buy. If you don’t show up consistently, then it will take longer. If you don’t show up in the same clarity each time, it may not happen at all. Show up with the same clear messaging of who you are, who your serve, and how.. each time!!!

Build Community. Community is built through the giving of value. Of course, they need to like, know, and trust you. Value is the key to the trust part. If you give value over and over again in the areas that create the transformation that you sell, then your brand becomes known for the choice when that transformation is needed. Give you community a place to gather so that you can tap into them when you want: social media group, email list, video live streaming, etc…

Ask. Listen. Deliver. The strongest brands ask the people what they want, listen to their answer, and deliver it. Those 3 simple things build strength AND brand loyalty. When you deliver what was asked of you, people not only feel a part of the brand but they feel ownership in the brand. Now it’s not just your brand, it’s theirs too. You can’t get stronger than that.
